The Pilgrimage of the Icon arrives to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam.
On behalf of the Parishioners of Tuam Cathedral Parish, I welcome the Pilgrimage of the Icon to our Parish. There is a strong devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Tuam. Both the 10.00 am mass and the 7.30 pm mass in the Cathedral on Mondays are celebrated as Novena Masses to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Included in the intentions of these masses are the written petitions that parishioners have placed at the Shrine to Our Lady during the previous week. Both of these masses are always well attended and each mass includes the Novena Prayers to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
We send our good wishes to all involved with the Pilgrimage of the Icon and we look forward to welcoming pilgrims and the Icon and to the Cathedral of the Assumption on the evening of Wednesday April 20th 2016.
Go n-éirí an bóthar libh agus faoi choimirce na Maighdine sibh ar fad. Le caoin mheas,
Fr. Patrick Farragher Adm.
